My Neighbor Felix, Centennial, Colorado

A Restaurant + Lounge experience! Upon our arrival at My Neighbor Felix, Centennial, we were comfortably settled into a booth near the bar, on the lower level of this sprawling two-story establishment.

THE STATS:

Atmosphere:

The restaurant's vibe was vibrant and engaging, embellished with an array of Pan-American elements like Mexican star lamps, neon light touches, and walls adorned with lush greenery. It beautiful!

When to go: I love the late afternoon around four 4PM when the sun is glistening through the lovely large windows and there is still lounge seating available!

What to wear: This is a hip place, even if you opt for shorts, make sure they are your "dress shorts."

What to drink:

The Hibiscus Margarita, prepared with hibiscus-infused tequila, fresh lime, and pineapple, was a delight. The hibiscus lent a unique blend of lemon and cranberry tartness to the Margarita.

The Muy Yum Paloma is an absolute delight, and way too easy to drink!

What to eat:

So many options! The Tequila Shrimp Tacos were a seafood delight, with citrus-marinated jumbo tiger shrimp, jalapeño avocado coleslaw, cilantro crema, cotija cheese, radish, and cilantro.

The Lobster + Shrimp Enchiladas, bathed in a tangy tomatillo salsa verde, were a mix of sweet and savory, thanks to the inclusion of poached lobster and black tiger shrimp.

Overall experience: It's a totally hip lounge/restaurant with a festival of colors for all the senses. Certainly a great spot for a date with your SO!

XOXO, Samm & Ana, your favorite Denver Date Night couple!
